Let me make the difference between a good image and a GREAT image.
This was a photo shoot with First Insight. They needed a photo of their CEO in front of the Keystone Summit building they were moving their headquarters into. They also needed photos of just the building. We were lucky that it didn't rain, but it didn't make for a pretty shot....but it's never an ugly day in photoshop! You'll notice I also removed some distracting elements such as poles, lighting boxes and the markers in the parking lot.

I spotted my Sister-in-Law and my niece in this position... then told my brother to get my nephew in the other two windows. This was the result.. my brother's family gazing down at Niagara Falls from the upper level of the Welcome Center. Taken Thanksgiving Weekend of 2014, I loved how the composition came out... but didn't love the grey November day. I had to add a little color to it.
It was a beautiful day but to get this angle, I had to be on Pittsburgh's West End Bridge. To compensate for the July haze, I had to pump up the color here as well.

This tree had some issues. I needed to remove that blue tag and make it a little more Christmas-worthy. Mission accomplished!
