Of course the cover is done before the book. That’s how I roll.

My first publication, a journal about persistence is going to help me finish this book. This book is about a stressful, eventful, and strangely beautiful time in my life. It was 2021 - the year I was successfully treated for breast cancer.

I kept the people in my life up to speed about what that was going on with an online journal. Lo and behold, people were thoroughly enjoying my medical crisis! My mom had always told me I was a good writer, and evidently it was paying off when it came to writing about the process of getting rid of a life-threatening medical condition.

I was told by various people how different my way through treatment was. I only knew one way through it. Faith in God, trust in my doctors - and a little pixie dust.
